Sarah Bailey, CPC, ELI-MP, ACC
Certified Life Coach &
Creator of Coaching for Kids
My name is Sarah Bailey. I am a Certified Professional Coach and wife and mother of four active and amazing children. I know first-hand how difficult it can be to "do it ALL" especially when you want to "do it WELL".
As a working mother, I understand the value and importance of work-life balance. I have been able to help clients find clarity around what works for them, what doesn’t, and help them make successful action plans to get all they want from life.
I created the Coaching for Kids curriculum to address a need I saw to promote and teach social and emotional intelligence beginning at a young age. As I was coaching 17-70 year olds, I saw many of the same challenges occurring throughout adulthood. This inspired me to create a coaching curriculum for children to help teach tools and strategies to guide them through life’s social emotional journeys. I focus my curriculum on building character, confidence, and courage.
I began implementing my Coaching for Kids program as an after school and summer program through several local private schools. I was able to expand my services into public schools through partnerships with nonprofits LETT Tennis and Neighborhood Academy. In 2019, I received a program grant from GEAR UP Jefferson County. Through the grant, my team provided Coaching for Kids to 200 middle school students at Irondale Elementary. We plan to continue serving afterschool programs and GEAR UP Jefferson County in the 2020-21 school year, as well as expanding to new areas through our new virtual Coaching for Kids programs.
